Trinidad and Tobago

Trinidad and Tobago are two distinct Caribbean islands off the northern coast of Venezuela. It is famous for the Carnival of all Carnivals that started a trend worldwide. African folklore, tradition and art are big influences on the country’s traditions but diverse ethnicities make the dual-island nation of Trinidad and Tobago a melting pot of cultures. Catchy soca and steel pan band music permeate the air. The beaches are mesmerizing and there are activities like bird watching, long drives, sport fishing and hiking worth your while. The Caribbean Travel Awards even voted Tobago the No.1 Eco-Destination in the Caribbean. Trinidad on the other hand is the world’s largest producer of asphalt and it is a petroleum and natural gas hub making it one of the richest islands in the Caribbean. More than 150 multinational corporations have established bases here. Both islands complement each other perfectly and should be experienced.
