Malta

Situated in the Mediterranean halfway between Sicily and North Africa, Malta is a small but heavily populated island nation in the middle of the Mediterranean. Consisting of 7 islands in the Mediterranean Sea, it is a popular tourist destination for its tropical climate, exciting nightlife, and a rich, colorful history dating back thousands of years.  Only the three largest islands - Malta, Gozo and Comino - are inhabited. The terrain is low and rocky with coastal cliffs.

Malta is a high tourist destination for summer holiday travelers. In fact, Malta’s population is almost tripled during the summer months thanks to the tourists.  Many travelers choose to lie alongside the island’s blue waters and sandy beaches, others enjoy the modernized version of Malta recently built up with high-rise resorts and luxury beachfront properties. Still, the charm of Malta relies in its rich history.
