Antigua and Barbuda is located at the center of the Leeward Island group in the Eastern Caribbean. It borders the islands of Montserrat and Guadeloupe to the south and to the north and west are St. Barts and St. Martin. The island nation’s warm and breezy weather and nearly unbroken wall of coral reef and historic shipwrecks offer tourists exciting activities like snorkeling, sailing and scuba diving. There are 365 beaches - one for each day of the year! You may also check out the Barbuda Frigate sanctuary, home to the Fregata magnificens, the waterbird with the largest wingspan (four to five feet) in the world.
